How Not to Decorate

On Friday we were treated to Debbie’s Colin and Justin posting.

In the comments I said, “I want them to come to my place just to watch them gasp in horror at my clown oil painting.”

I realize that I’m in danger of Colin and Justin performing a Home Heist on me for what I am about to display but it’s a risk I’m willing to take.

Behold…

THE CLOWN PAINTING

Eeew! I hate clowns!

It's not the worst clown pic I've ever seen, though. My late tante had one way weirder than that.

Just remember: John Wayne Gacy liked to dress up like a clown.

Friends don't let friends like clowns.

MJ,

Ummm. I'm sure your taste otherwise is quite lovely, though...

Why are clowns so popular? I've never met anyone who likes clowns. My kids have hated them all their lives, I hate them, my mom hates them, I'm sure if he asked my brother he'd say he hates them. It must be a conspiracy by subversives for some evil purpose.

Pip,

Good question. The major divide seems to be people who dislike them vs. people who are afraid of them. I have known a couple of people who had major clown phobias...

I simply dislike them; or rather, feel sorry for them. Even as a little girl, I was always embarrassed for them - didn't they have any dignity?

Seriously.

I have never watched the show, but after hearing about the boys on this site I just had to tune in! They are quite the characters, they did an awesome job in the lady's home! I have a question does anyone know who pays for the materials and contractors? Thanks I am now a fan of Colin and Justin!
