Reminder

MONDAY, OCTOBER 1st:
Two episodes of Coronation Street will air back-to-back.
This balances a pre-emption on THURSDAY, OCT. 4, due to hockey.

Has CBC started cutting scenes from Coronation Street? I noticed three scenes cut from tonight's back-to-back episodes, according to the recaps on Mike Plowman's Visual Updates. Is this a new thing? A permanent thing? Any idea?

CBC has indeed been trimming scenes make room for commercials, supposedly, which are restored during the Sunday omnibus.

I assume it's a permanent thing but we've trying to make the case here that it isn't necessary to do.

Mike Plowman for sainthood. I missed the extra episode Monday and the visual update was a lifesaver, was able to watch Tues without being totally clueless as to where Janice was, etc.

WHY WAS THERE NO CRAWL ON FRIDAY WARNING US THERE WAS A DOUBLE DIP ON MONDAY!!! /rant /caps lock

Guess I should've checked here but I didn't get the chance.

cheers!

please could someone help me? I keep clicking on Mike Plowman's visual updates and I get a page with nothing but his banner ads and no links to updates. That's www.csvu.net -- could someone please post the exact address link for the Canadian updates page, because I can't seem to access anything on CSVU.
Or email it to me at stuff@randysvinyltap.com

Thanks, Denise McCann Bachman
