Great updates, though I keep misreading the shorthand version of your moniker as WTF and thinking someone's having a flame war in the comments section!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am looking forward to contributing to Corrie Canuck.

WF: it is a balmy 16 degrees, 3 degrees higher than the normal max. It's like being in the Caribbean!

Rob: LOL. With my life the way it often is, WTF should likely be my moniker.

John,

I had no idea you are a Madeline Kahn fan!

"KHAAAAAAAAAAAAANNN!!!"

Madeleine Khan in Young Frankenstein was my second crush (the first being Uhura, of course).

"Oh, you men are all alike. Seven or eight quick ones and you're off with the boys to boast and brag! Well, you'd better keep your trap shut mister! ... Oh, I think I love him!"

I LOVE that movie (and Blazing Saddles)...

Taffeta, darling!

Hey WHF - great updates and welcome indeed from the territory to the east of ya.

Leaving town for a bit and VCR died on weekend, so I'm counting on WHF and the other CCCs to keep me updated unless I manage to make it home for Sunday's omnibus edition.

Sometimes the CC updates are better than the friggin' program -and no commercials for CBC shows to have to fast forward through :-)

Jacqueline:

I was (I wrote a paper on it in university and everything). But Madeleine Khan as Lily Von Schtupp quoted it in Blazing Saddles which led me to think of her role in Young Frankenstein, aka the True Greatest Movie Ever Made.

Nobody ever accused me of staying on topic.

I need to read your paper on Cabaret (nothisisthereallyreallyforrealgreatestmovieevermade)

Glacia's hands tremble as she resists the urge to post youtube clips of all three movies and put it to a Corrie Canuck vote.

Hey, don't forget 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail', gotta be one of the wittiest, funniest, stupidest movies ever made.

Welcome Whitehorse!

Hmmm... Monty Python or Young Frankenstein... that's a tough one!

Has anyone else here seen another Mel Brooks movie: High Anxiety?
