The green ribbon is for organ transplans.

Yes, I know...just trying to make a joke about our favorite Oirish family.

No disrespect towards the organ transplant campaign intended.

What's with the Blue Jay shirt Jacqueline? Did he get that in prison?

Let's hear it for the Irish...

I keep hoping that 'the oirish girl' will come back for our Steve - wasn't that an odd little plot sideline? ...she comes in for a couple of episodes, he falls for her, then she disappears back to Oirland.

She was perfect for him.

Come to think of it, she was probably way too normal to live on 'the street'...

I'm glad to know that the rest of you lot think as highly of Vermin as I do - man, there is something unwholesome about that dude...

Just his looks creep me out...like he's had a few nips and tucks around his eyes.

One of the great things about Jimmy Mac was that he regularly sported Blue Jays shirts. Nothing like a wild, drunken Oirishman rootin' for a Canadian baseball team, you know what I mean?

It's hard keeping track of all the ribbon campaigns - they are all great causes, but it's getting to the point where you see a red ribbon or a green ribbon or a yellow ribbon and you try to remember what it's for. It's not that we don't agree with the particular cause, but there just gets to be a lot of 'noise'.

I feel sorta like that every year now asking friends/colleagues to support my annual Terry Fox Run, which I've been doing since early 1980s - I know everyone is maxed out with being asked to contribute to worthy causes.... They almost all still do - and some would be upset if I didn't ask 'em cuz I've been at it so long.

Anyhoooooooooo - yeah, it'd be just grand to have Jim Mac back on the street, you know what I mean?

And yeah - that Oirish girl that Steve had for a wee while was a cutie and good for him. Agree with London Rob - bring her back and free Jim!

Loved watching Wail try to read Chaucher this evening - last time it was mathematics. Next - Wail investigates the Krebs Cycle! (that's biochemistry and something I never figured out despite 4 months of the best efforts of a very good professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland to do so.....)

This particular green ribbon is a glass ribbon produced by Heinekin to show support for music education.

And alcoholic Dutchmen.

Jim's gonna need a new sweatshirt when he gets out. May I suggest:

For a moment I thought you were going to suggest this John.

*single tear rolls down John's cheek*

Actually an Expos shirt would be hilarious. He could wear it for years and nobody would tell him they're no more for fear of his stereotypical Irish temper.

And I see my link didn't work - it was a Jays hoodie with the current logo.

I got it

I fully support the downing of huge quantities of beer, which I believe is what got Jim into most of the trouble in his life~!

Jim in prison was almost a teddy bear as compared to Jim on the street. He hit Liz once, and left her on the side of the road, threatened to hit Steve and Andy religiously, and was generally one mean customer, so he was.
