Corrie Contest on CBC

So, the CBC is having a contest this week on Corrie trivia. From their site: (Full Details here.)

The Ultimate Corrie Lover's Trivia Contest!
March 12-16, 2007
I say, I say! On a scale of one to ten, how well would you rate your knowledge of one of the best loved places in the world?

If you can answer questions like, "Who was involved in Coronation Street's first love triangle?" or, "Whose wedding drew two million more viewers than Prince Charles and Camilla's?", then you could win some of the best Corrie swag on this side of the Atlantic!!

To win, all you have to do is know your Corrie trivia and watch CBC News At Six with Diana Swain.

The contest begins Monday, March 12th and ends Friday, March 16th. There are five trivia questions in this contest. Diana Swain will give out a different question each day.

In order to win, you must answer all five questions correctly. Once you have all the questions and answers, submit your entry.

Entries must be received no later than Tuesday, March 21st at noon.


Contest Rules and Regulations
1. TO ENTER
To enter the Ultimate Corrie Lover's Trivia Contest, you must tune in to CBC News at Six each night from March 12-16, 2007 and watch for the "Ultimate Corrie Lover's Trivia" Question of the day.

There are five questions in total, a new one will be given every day on CBC News At Six. The Contest begins on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 6 p.m. (EST) and runs until Friday, March 19, 2007 at 7:00 p.m (EST).

To enter the contest, you will collect the answers to all five trivia questions and submit them along with your name, daytime telephone number, email address and age. There will be a new "Corrie Lover's Trivia Question" given each day between March 12 and 16 during the CBC News at Six hour.

You will have until noon on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 (EST) (12:00pm) to enter the "Ultimate Corrie Lover's Trivia Contest" Limit of one (1) entry per household. The winner will be drawn and announced during CBC News at Six in Toronto on Friday, March 23, 2007.

Entrants must read all the contest rules and eligibility requirements posted at www.cbc.ca/toronto Entries that do not comply with the Rules in all respects are ineligible and void. No purchase necessary.

2. ELIGIBILITY
Contest is open to Ontario residents, 19 years of age or older. Employees, directors and officers of CBC, Coronation Street productions, and their affiliates, as well as their immediate family (father/mother, brother/sister, son/daughter) or persons living under the same roof are not eligible to enter this contest.

3. PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING PRIZE
Once you have all the answers to the Corrie Lover's Trivia contest , you can enter the contest at www.cbc.ca/toronto from 7 p.m. March 16 until noon (12:00 p.m.) March 21st. On March 21st, the entries will be reviewed and those with the correct answer will be entered in the draw for the Grand prize. This draw will be made on Friday, March 23, 2007 from among all eligible entries received from 7 p.m. March 12 to noon March 21st.. The first contestant drawn shall be declared winner subject to responding to all the conditions described in these rules. The winner will be announced on CBC News at Six. on Friday March 23, 2007.The winner will also be contacted by telephone in the hours following the draw and will then be announced on CBC News at Six and should claim his/her prize as instructed by CBC.

If CBC is unable to contact the winner within five business days or if they do not claim their prize within five business days of being contacted, that winner will be disqualified and a new winner will be drawn.

You may submit one entry per household.

4. DESCRIPTION OF THE GRAND PRIZE
The Grand prize package includes:

Coronation Street beer pint mug
Coronation Street travel cup
Coronation Street sweatshirt
Coronation Street T shirt
Coronation Street notebooks

The approximate value of the Grand Prize is $400.00
