I want a Blackpool hat.

I was there in 1974, but I didn't get a hat. I did however, try to buy some cotton candy and had a hell of a time because the dude behind the counter had no idea what I was talking about.

At age 8, I wondered, 'Why don't they speak English here?'

Note to travellers, in the UK, they call it 'Cotton Candy'. Chips are clled 'crisps', trucks are called 'lorries' and dogs are called 'How's your Jack Robinson four legged spiders'.

Ken, Ken, Ken, Ken.....light the hell up. I never realized that DH Lawrence was one of the early writers of the show.

Cotton Candy is called Candy Floss, but now I've just messed up the little joke I was going for there.

Glacia grabbing her vodka and heading back to bed.
