I love Little Britian, what I don't understand is why we get it hear on BBC Kids. Not the most appropriate channel to be running it.

Where are you Lori? We get it on BBC Canada. And I'm a Little Britain junkie.

On their website it is listed under "teen" programing. I haven't seen it on this week, and it runs at night,, not when kids are up (hopefully). Just seems a strange station to pick it up at all. I am in BC,, and we also get it on Showcase.

Is this telling us something about British tots?

I also saw an ad for BBC Kids and among the moving pix gliding across the screen were several Little Britain shots in between some obviously random kiddie & cartoon shots.

From BBC(edited for length)...

It doesn't seem right to think that children as young as four are going round reciting 'I'm the only gay in the village'.

It seems that children as young as four are being allowed to watch Little Britain, even though it is screened after the 9.00pm watershed.

Research published in Radio Times estimates that more than 86,000 four to nine year-olds watched the last series.

David Walliams admitted: 'Little Britain is not designed for children, it's not meant for them. But it's great that they love it.'

And Matt Lucas said some schools were warning parents not to let their children watch the show because it as 'affecting how the kids behaved in school'.

The Radio Times survey of 2,000 children showed Little Britain is second only to the Simpsons in a poll of favourite comedies.
