Brit of the Day: David Sullivan

Mike Baldwin may be Weatherfield’s top golfer . . . . .

Johnny Briggs (our Mike Baldwin)

. . . but Mike’s got nothing on David Sullivan.

Sullivan, of Oxted, Surrey, has completed the longest hole in golf history - 1,000 miles, the length of the UK, from John O'Groats to Land's End.

David, 42, played 247,000 shots in his three-month feat for charity. He kept to golf rules by hitting each ball from where it landed.

"I've been up mountains, in gardens, chased by bulls... you name it. My feet are killing me." He lost 293 balls.
