Dirty Dating

I don’t know about you but I feel like I need a good wash after viewing all the two-timing trysts between Sally and Ian . . .

and Maria and her fancy man footballer Stuart . . .

Thankfully, Jack Shepherd (our David Platt) has the common decency to extol the virtues of cleanliness.

Yeah i have to admit that I find Sally's boss Ian really YUCKY - maybe it's his little smarmey thin mouth combined with horrible teeth.... if he's go so much dough why doesn't he get his teeth fixed. icky.
I also don't sense any kind of chemistry/electricity there... but perhaps that what the writers intended so that we see Sally for exactly she is doing and becoming.

Has anyone noticed that the actor who plays Sally's boss is none other than the fellow who appeared on the hugely popular Brit-com, As Time Goes By, starring Dame Judy Dench and Geoffrey Palmer?
The actor in question portrayed Allistair, a wealthy book publisher who published My Life in Kenya (Palmer's character, Lionel's, memoirs about his African coffee plantation) and subsequently put Lionel on the road to Hollywood fame(?) by getting him to write an autobiographical TV series script about his much-delayed romance with Judy Dench's character, Jean. Got that?
